Will the Phillies put me out of my misery tonight or will the Dodgers man up and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat?

Selfish
Posted On 10/16/2009 11:05:18 by RT_Dodger

I wrote yesterday about how the McCourts, current Dodger owners, have no sense of timing, when it was reported, on the eve of the NLCS, that they were divorcing.  I did not mention then, but I mention it now, that they are also selfish.  Why?  Because they could care less about the organization, the people that work in it, the people who root for it, and the city that loves it.

Dodger lead over the Rockies in the NL West:  One game.

What is there to say?

More ugliness as the Dodgers limp to the playoffs -- unfortunately they have already clinched a playoff spot so I will be forced to see them get kicked around in the first-round. Yeah, I know, there's no correlation between a team's record at the end of the season and its performance in the playoffs but you don't think this stink is bound to linger.  At least a little bit?
