It's true. Nothing. I know nada. I'm one of those people who watches the Super Bowl for the commercials, who doesn't know a gridiron from a waffle iron, who is baffled not merely by the infield fly rule but by the necessity of a shortstop. I don't understand the lines on the basketball court, nor do I really get the allure of watching a 60 minute game where all the drama is contained in the last 3 minutes. I thought hockey had 4 quarters and for some reason on the rare occasion I watched a game I just kept missing one. I was mildly interested in camel racing when I heard the sheikhs were going to replace the child-slave jockeys with robots. I don't understand why watery beer costs eight dollars at the stadium. NASCAR looks like someone decided to slap a logo on a car manufacturer's test track. I have a difficult time seeing past football's obvious homoeroticism.
I did like Major League and The Natural, though.

The Aztecs had this goofy ball game where the losers were ritually beheaded. Well, okay, that's not "interesting" so much as "horrifying."

I like the Yankees, mostly because it's easy. I feel a mild pang whenever they lose then get on with my life.
Do the teams from Mutant League Football count?
