Matt Minucci has been a die-hard sports fanatic since the age of five when he forced his mother and father to teach him how to factor the Batting averages and Earned run averages for every player on the 1977 New York Yankees. His teacher wanted him to skip first grade because she thought he was a mathematical genius. To wit his parents vehemently replied: "He's not that bright. He just loves sports." He stands by that comment to this day. And still his wife married him. He also has a 5 year old daughter who is well on her way to being a Yankee fan and can currently throw harder than him. Matt played goalie through high school and college and has had every one of his toes broken. His wife describes his toes as "revolting."

He can name every member of the 1927 Yankees, the order they batted, their entire rotation and all their stats. Why you would WANT him to do this is a mystery.

He loves his wife and daughter more than he loves sports...but his wife refuses to believe this.
